Do not fear the Dark

Locked in a forever embrace
Eternal friends, eternal enemies.
Out of darkness
We emerge into the light,
As it always was And ever shall be.
Our notions of the dark
Are mere childish illusion:
An eternity of light,
An eternity of darkness,
Neither can sustain existence.
Evil lies in excess, separation
In denial of the oneness of all things.
In balance we find our true selves,
On the cliff edge we find our strength,
The cosmic flow of the universe,
Wherein lies the music of the spheres.
